I went out to Seoul today to try to hunt down a lens for my camera. I thought that since I would be doing some major traveling this winter I should pick up that lens I have been looking at for a while now. The lens I had in mind was a 35mm prime lens made by Nikon. The lens is a great portrait lens and excels in low light because of its 1.8F aperture. So far I’m loving it. The sharpness is great and the background blur is beautiful. Here are some shots from today. Enjoy!

Thank you Mr. Sales person for doing the deal all cash. I ended up buying the camera lens for the same price that I would have picked it up at home for. That’s not always doable; in Korea, people are used to paying far more for anything electronic than we do in the west. Total cost today, 270 000W which works out to $240.00. Getting the same lens shipped from the USA through Amazon could have cost me $300.
